Bookkeeper (Part-time)

End of the Roll Flooring Centres in Ottawa, ON is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level Bookkeeper to join our team. This position is perfect for someone currently studying accounting or business who is eager to gain practical, real-world experience.
A day in the life
Your primary responsibility will be to accurately receive inventory into the system for both End of the Roll locations. This includes verifying quantities and pricing on invoices and ensuring stock transfers are completed promptly. You will also be responsible for reconciling monthly visa expenses, along with supporting other bookkeeping tasks as needed.
What we need from you
- An accounting mindset.
- Comfortable working with numbers and learning new systems.
- Currently enrolled in an accounting or business program.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Medium to intermediate in computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Gmail.
- Pro-active, ability to work under own initiative without direction.
- Quick learner.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week on average.
