Position Summary
We are looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Truck Drivers Owner Operator with a FAST Card or TWIC card in Calgary, AB. Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination.

• Location : Calgary , AB
• 4-5 days a week Sunday to Thursday/Friday (Could vary depending on coverage required weekends)
• Start Time : Early Morning
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends when required. Open for Night driving as well.
• Open availability to run Canada and USA. 5-6 days away from home.

What You Will Do

• Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
• Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
• Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
• Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner

What You'll Bring

• Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
• Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
• Valid Fast card or TWIC card
• Mountain driving experience a must
• Truck should not be older the 6 years
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Excellent customer service skills
