Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and excellent customer service.
You will need to work 3 days a week, at 2 pm and 5:30 pm (every other week will be a Saturday with one time slot at 3pm). Pickup is in Cambridge and Delivery is in the Brantford/Paris area.
Must have Canadian criminal back ground check and driving abstract
Responsibilities
- Your own vehicle is required as this is a sub-contract position paid by KM.
- Load and unload items
- Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying orders and obtaining signatures upon receipt
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries
Skills
- Ability to accurately count packages
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate deliveries and documentation
