As an operational risk analyst, you help prevent, analyze and develop guidelines for suspicious and fraudulent transactions. You also assist with compliance, internal controls, crisis management and the security of personal information and property. You analyze issues, support the more experienced professionals in your unit, and help prepare opinions and implementation plans in accordance with your discipline's rules. You draw on your extensive knowledge of the sector and your ability to manage complexity to conduct research and preliminary analysis and develop initial outlines of tools and processes. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support management decision-making and operational risk control processes. Perform internal control and compliance operations

  • Contribute to specialized activities and initiatives

  • Analyze risks, prepare reports and help implement recommendations

  • Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required
