About the Role

We are seeking Registered OT or PT ADP Authorizers to join our team in the Durham Region / GTA. In this role, you will perform ADP assessments, recommend appropriate assistive devices, complete the required documentation, and work with our clients, their care teams, and vendors to optimize device outcomes.

Who You Are

• Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) or College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• Certified ADP Authorizer (or willing to become one)
• Passionate about eldercare, community care, and client-centred service
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Experience or education in dementia care (e.g., Gentle Persuasive Approach) is an asset
• Current Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months)
• 2-Step TB Test (within 6 months)
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

What You Will Do

• Complete comprehensive ADP assessments (mobility, seating, positioning, etc.)
• Determine eligibility, recommend devices, and complete ADP application forms
• Collaborate with vendors and care teams to ensure a proper fit and safe setup
• Perform any required follow-up or re-assessment post-delivery
• Provide clinical input, education, and device training for clients

Pay: $40.00-$100.00 per hour
