Licensed Practical Nurse (Clinical)

CRC Health Centre is currently seeking dedicated and professional Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role provides the opportunity to support our physicians in clinical duties, offering both part-time and full-time positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with clinical tasks, including assessment, management, and documentation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a healthcare provider.
  • Perform nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, including injections and monitoring vital signs.
  • Provide patients with education about their health conditions and treatment plans as directed by the physician.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Comply with all legal and professional standards for LPNs in British Columbia.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid LPN licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in a specialist clinic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer use and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute (WPM).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to accommodate various shift schedules, including potential weekend shifts.

Work Schedule:

Shifts range between 6 to 8 hours, depending on physician schedules.
