Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across lite commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal operation of HVAC equipment, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients' environments.
Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnose system issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct plumbing and appliance repairs related to HVAC systems when necessary
- Weld or modify components as required for system repairs or upgrades
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Maintain detailed service records and report on system performance
- Assist with construction or renovation projects involving HVAC components
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all work activities
Requirements
- Proven experience with HVAC systems, including installation and repair
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Strong understanding of construction practices related to HVAC installation
- Previous mechanic experience or background in maintenance roles is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are highly desirable
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.55-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
