We provide residential snow clearing across the city using a pay-per-snowfall model (no monthly contracts for customers). Our focus is on reliability, quality work, and great communication.

You'll be part of a fun, supportive crew that values effort, accountability, and teamwork — with flexible scheduling and performance-based rewards.

What You'll Do

  • Clear snow from residential driveways and walkways after each snowfall
  • Use snowblowers, shovels, or plow attachments (equipment provided or reimbursed)
  • Upload before and after photos of each job via our Snoweco Tech App
  • Log job completion status and flag any property issues
  • Work independently — perfect for those who like working outdoors

How It Works

  • Snowfall triggers service: When snow hits 1 inch (2.5 cm) or more, Snoweco dispatches crews citywide.
  • Route Selection: You select the routes that work for you.
  • Pay-per-job: Each completed property earns points and pay based on the job type and completion quality.
  • Gamified system: Earn points for on-time jobs, before/after photos, and positive feedback — climb the Snoweco Tech Tiers to unlock seasonal bonuses
  • Fast payouts: All work is tracked digitally and paid weekly.

Compensation

  • Average pay: $25–$40 per hour equivalent (based on performance and route size)
  • Bonuses for reliability, photo submissions, and perfect-shift streaks
  • End-of-season cash rewards based on performance tier (up to $100+)
  • All tips are yours

You'll be classified as an independent contractor (ideal for those with flexible schedules or other work).

Requirements

  • Must be reliable and available during snow events (early mornings or evenings)
  • Physically able to shovel and operate snow equipment safely
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not required for walking routes)
  • Smartphone for job tracking and photo uploads
  • Have equipment such as shovel or blower for snow removal
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
