Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is welcoming a full-time Veterinary Reception and Client Care who is an exceptional, organized multitasker and an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual. We're looking for a personable yet highly professional "service extraordinaire" to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.
- Ability to answer a multi-line phone system and track and schedule appointments effectively
- Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
- Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and VCA Woofware
- Exceptional client service skills
- Empathetic, nurturing and positive attitude
- Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change and adaptable
- Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
- Attention to detail with above-average time management skills
- Previous veterinary experience or graduation from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred
Schedule: Must be flexible and available to work shift work (early as 6 am and late as 2 am), weekdays, weekends and holidays.
