Your Role:
We're seeking 1 part-time / casual Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team and work with adult clients under secure Ministry funding with OHatHome. The expected caseload averages 2–3 clients per week, with a maximum of approximately 5 clients weekly. This is a flexible position ideal for those looking for additional part time casual clinical work.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assessing Adult Clients: Assessing Adults that discharged home from hospital and waiting for a long-term care placement. Conduct swallowing assessment, considering communication abilities and individual needs.
- Evidence-Based Intervention: Implement SMART goals and evidence-backed intervention strategies to support client progress.
- Designing Tailored Treatment Plans: Develop individualized treatment plans based on best practice guidelines and your clinical expertise.
- Client and Family Engagement: Actively collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure client-centered care and meaningful progress.
What We're Looking For:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CASLPO Registration
- Strong Assessment & Intervention Skills
- Excellent Communication & Teamwork: Collaboration is key, and we value strong interpersonal skills.
- Organizational Excellence: You'll need to manage caseloads and client schedules efficiently.
- A Valid Driver's License & Vehicle Access
