Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately while promoting our products effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, focusing on upselling opportunities.
  • Process cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Assist in technology sales by demonstrating product features and benefits to customers.
  • Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing, change calculations, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding promotions, product information, and store policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy boxes.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have AGLC Proserve.
