Overview

We are seeking a skilled and professional Red Seal Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of trucks and bins, contributing to overall efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • order parts for repairs and CVI work
  • Use of computerized work order tracking system
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for tracking maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand the layout of systems and components.
  • Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs or modifications to bins and trucks
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Red Seal Maintenance Mechanic/Welder/Fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze complex systems.
  • Familiar with welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
  • Works well in a team environment

Shifts- 4x10's 3pm to 1:00am and 6am to 4pm

Monday to Thursday -Evenings

and

Thursday to Sunday - Days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
