Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring a smooth and professional appearance. This role requires a strong understanding of drywall finishing. The Taper will work closely with carpenters and other trades to deliver high-quality results on various projects, contributing to the overall success of our construction endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Apply joint compound and finish drywall surfaces with precision to achieve a seamless look
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks

Experience

• Proven experience in construction, drywall finishing, or related trades
• Knowledge of construction
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience working on commercial or residential construction sites is preferred

Pay: $19.89-$38.77 per hour
