Entrek Engineering, a young and fast growing engineering and design consulting firm in the energy industry, is seeking a Junior Piping Designer.  We are looking for a driven candidate who is passionate about contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions in the energy sector. Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative energy projects, ranging from small wellsites and pipelines to large processing facilities and concept designs.
  • The candidate will be a part of a dynamic environment where your technical skills and creative problem-solving abilities will drive project success.
  • The candidate will work directly under senior designers and engineers, fulfilling a variety of tasks including but not limited to P&ID creation, plot plans, 3D modeling, isometrics.
  • Opportunity for site and shop visits to see designs into fabrication and operation.
  • This position has a large potential for growth – at Entrek we feel that great designers need to have a wealth of knowledge outside of just drawing creation and as such, we encourage individuals to ask questions and take ownership of their work.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in a 2 year EDDT (or equivalent) drafting and design program
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx and Navisworks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
