Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Eden Gardens. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care to residents with dementia, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their families. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in British Columbia.
  • Experience in dementia care or geriatric nursing is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and electronic health records systems.
