Duties

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care.
• Apply knowledge of color theory to recommend and create eye-catching nail designs tailored to each client's style.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene.
• Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and suggest suitable nail treatments or enhancements such as eyelash extensions or body waxing.
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, or nail care tools to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales.
• Assist clients with additional beauty services such as hair extensions, hair styling, or esthetic laser treatments when applicable.
• Keep detailed records of services performed and communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license with certification in nail care; additional certifications in esthetic laser treatment or dermabrasion are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation practices to ensure safe and beautiful results.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively and energetic attitude.
• Knowledge of hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, barbering, and dermabrasion is advantageous but not mandatory.
