What can you bring to us?

  • A diploma from a recognized Electrical Engineering Technology program.
  • 3-5 years of field experience
  • Experience with drafting
  • Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, Doble, etc.) & relay testing with various equipment (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
  • Experience in substations
  • Ability to understand & perform technically complex calculations
  • Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Able to travel & remain at project sites as required
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

You will get the opportunity to work in a variety of locations with a diverse & well-rounded team Typical responsibilities would include:

  • Performing maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, & repair of low, medium & high voltage equipment in a safe & efficient manner
  • Commissioning & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system
  • Acting as liaison with subcontractors & clients, develop customer service relationships
  • Supervising/leading projects to ensure successful project execution according to company & client standards
  • Providing mentorship to junior technologists & support to team members
  • Completing & submitting technical reports & test sheets
