Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Project Engineer. This role will primarily focus on managing projects related to the design, development, and installation of industrial refrigeration systems. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct load calculations and design refrigeration systems to meet client specifications and industry standards.
Develop detailed design and construction drawings using CAD software.
Provide oversight and technical support during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with design requirements and safety regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and obstacles, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
Perform site visits and inspections as needed to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Prepare project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong technical background in mechanical systems design and engineering principles.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for creating detailed drawings and schematics.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in construction management or related field is a plus.
Valid Ontario driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
