Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is expanding its
Cash Management team
to support a bank-wide liquidity and cash management transformation. This Business Analyst role is hands-on, supporting both day-to-day cash operations and the implementation of a
new cash management platform
.

You will work closely with
Treasury, Capital Markets, Operations, and Technology teams
to ensure accurate cash positioning, settlement funding, and liquidity controls across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a
    Business Analyst for Cash Management and Liquidity operations
    .
  • Analyze and document
    end-to-end cash flows
    for Capital Markets products, including derivatives, fixed income, and swaps.
  • Gather and translate requirements for cash positioning, trade settlement funding, and liquidity guardrails.
  • Support
    cash management platform implementation
    , including vendor RFP support, business requirements documentation (BRD/FRD/User Stories), and UAT planning/execution.
  • Partner with Treasury to define credit line usage, liquidity thresholds, and intraday cash guardrails in line with OSFI regulations.
  • Collaborate with Capital Markets Operations to understand settlement cycles, account flows, and payment/funding timelines.
  • Document business processes, system workflows, and change impact for cash and liquidity operations.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years as a
    Business Analyst
    in a bank or financial institution.
  • Direct involvement in Cash Management or Liquidity-related projects
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    trade settlement, cash positioning, and funding operations
    .
  • Experience supporting
    Capital Markets products
    : derivatives, fixed income, swaps.
  • Hands-on exposure to systems such as
    Calypso, Wall Street, Global One, Murex, or similar
    .
  • Awareness of
    OSFI liquidity and regulatory requirements
    .

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting
    system implementations or transformation initiatives
    .
  • UAT leadership and test execution experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
