About the position
The TV Commercial Scriptwriter will translate a strategy and brief into compelling commercial scripts, collaborating with our creative and production teams to deliver spots that are on-brand, compliant, and performance-driven.
A suitable candidate would be capable of commuting to our office three days per week after completing a full-time in-office training period of six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Write TV commercial scripts for multiple industries and brand voices (CTV)
- Produce various lengths and versions
- Translate marketing briefs into clear creative concepts and tight story structure
- Ensure scripts fit timing, visual pacing, and audio rhythm
- Partner with Account Managers, Designers, and Project Managers to refine ideas
- Incorporate feedback quickly and professionally
- Keep ads aligned with broadcast standards and customer compliance needs
Applicant requirements:
- 2+ years
writing for TV, video, or broadcast advertising - Portfolio showing finished/completed ads or scripts with timing awareness
- Ability to write in different tones (direct-response, brand storytelling, comedic, emotional etc.)
- Strong grasp of creative strategy: hook, tension and payoff
- Experience with performance marketing
- Ability to concept and storyboard at a high level
- Proven history of delivering insights that influence business decisions.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Successful stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Thoughtful problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects.
