We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and professional Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor to join our coaching team. This role involves leading structured Muay Thai / Kickboxing classes, creating a safe and positive training environment, and helping students build real striking skills, fitness, confidence, and discipline.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Muay Thai or Kickboxing experience, enjoys teaching, and understands how to coach groups effectively—not just train themselves.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead engaging Muay Thai Kickboxing classes for adults and/or youth
  • Teach proper technique including stance, footwork, strikes, defense, pad work, and conditioning
  • Adapt instruction to different skill levels (beginner to advanced)
  • Maintain a safe training environment and enforce gym rules and safety protocols
  • Provide clear coaching cues, feedback, and motivation during classes
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere on the mats
  • Monitor student progress and encourage consistency and improvement
  • Communicate professionally with members, parents (if applicable), and staff
  • Assist with special classes, seminars, or events when needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, or related striking arts
  • Prior coaching or teaching experience preferred (group classes strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of striking fundamentals, pad holding, and class flow
  • Ability to confidently lead groups and manage class energy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR / First Aid certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Passion for coaching and helping students improve

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Competition experience in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, or MMA
  • Experience teaching beginners
  • Knowledge of conditioning, warm-ups, and injury prevention
