Role Description
This is a contract role for a DevOps Specialist in a hybrid work environment, based in Edmonton, AB, with some remote work flexibility. The DevOps Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing software development workflows, managing continuous integration pipelines, and deploying scalable, resilient infrastructure. Other responsibilities include managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters, maintaining Linux systems, and ensuring seamless integration between various systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development and Continuous Integration techniques
- Strong understanding of Integration and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
- Proficient with Linux systems and environments
- Experience in managing deployment processes for scalable and resilient infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Previous experience in IT or DevOps roles is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred
