Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building renovation, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and finishing. This role involves transforming spaces through comprehensive renovation projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Renovator will work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial properties, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute renovation projects accurately
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently
  • Perform construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, concrete forming and finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation
  • Conduct restoration work including caulking, painting, masonry repairs, and plumbing adjustments
  • Handle electrical wiring and systems installation or repair with appropriate safety measures
  • Estimate project materials and labor requirements for construction estimating purposes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each phase of the project
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during operations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, masonry, electrical work, or related fields
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings with confidence
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation is preferred
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing systems, and restoration processes is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions for extended periods
  • Valid certification or relevant licensing is a plus
