The Role
We're looking for a sharp, proactive Customer Service Representative to be the go-to person for our clients and help keep our operations running smoothly. You'll handle the day-to-day heartbeat of our brokerage: tracking shipments, chasing rates, updating clients, and making sure everything moves like clockwork. This isn't just data entry—it's about building trust, solving problems fast, and contributing to our momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage track and trace for all active shipments—provide real-time updates to clients and resolve any hiccups quickly.
- Source and negotiate competitive rates from carriers to secure the best options for our shippers.
- Keep clients informed with proactive communication—send status updates, ETA confirmations, and handle inquiries via phone, email, and portal.
- Own client relationships—manage a portfolio of accounts, anticipate needs, and deliver top-tier service that keeps them coming back.
- Perform accurate data entry into our TMS (Transportation Management System) and other tools—load details, documents, notes, everything stays clean and current.
- Collaborate with the team on load booking, issue resolution, and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in transport brokerage or freight logistics (1–3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with TMS software (any major platform like Truckstop, DAT, or similar—bonus if you've used ours).
- Strong command of Microsoft Outlook (email management, calendars, tasks) and general computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and quick on your feet (bilingual French/English is a big plus in Quebec).
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills—nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- Problem-solver mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love turning chaos into smooth operations.
