As a tech startup, we focus on developing technologies that contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency. Our team is committed to pushing the boundaries of clean tech and making significant global impacts by helping our clients reduce their costs and emissions.
Position Summary
SolarSteam is looking for a Senior Process Engineer with a strong science, technology and engineering background in process design, operational strategy, and system modeling. Hands-on power engineering or plant operator experience would be beneficial. This role will assist in developing SolarSteam's thermal modules, utility modules, and client system integration.
An engineering degree and strong STEM literacy is required for this position. It is essential to be comfortable and able to work with multi-disciplinary teams. Their expertise will guide our design from concept through commissioning using design calculations, analysis, and system sizing to create components, schedules and system specifications. They are to create engineering illustrations, diagrams (such as piping and instrumentation diagrams or process flow diagrams), schematics, and models, and prepare the bill of materials for SolarSteam's products. In carrying out their duties, they will utilize software tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and Symmetry to complete their analysis and design. Their practical operational insight will ensure reliable and efficient plant performance. They will coordinate with multiple team members and stakeholders for project execution.
