UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, or InVision to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design solutions, utilizing tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, or Qualtrics.
- Design responsive web interfaces optimized for various devices including mobile devices and desktops using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and other front-end technologies.
- Create information architecture, user flows, layout designs, and data visualizations to enhance user engagement and comprehension.
- Apply design thinking principles to develop innovative solutions that improve user experience (UX) and interaction design (UI).
- Work within the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) framework in an Agile environment to deliver iterative improvements on digital products.
- Ensure accessibility standards such as web accessibility guidelines are met across all designs.
- Utilize APIs, RESTful services, and AWS cloud services to support integrated digital solutions.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze data to refine interface elements for optimal usability and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing for e-commerce platforms or similar digital products with a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX skills.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Balsamiq, Axure, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular; experience with React Express is a plus.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Bootstrap or WordPress; experience with Drupal or SharePoint is advantageous.
- Understanding of motion graphics, data visualization techniques, and interaction design principles.
- Experience working within Agile teams utilizing Jira or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms like Google Analytics 360 or Omniture for data analysis and user behavior insights.
- Ability to conduct user research, requirements gathering, wireframing, layout design, usability testing (including user acceptance testing), and analysis skills.
