Enbridge is seeking a supervisor for liquids projects to provide technical leadership, oversight, and people management for a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the design, integration, and construction support of major liquids pipeline facilities. What you will do:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in the design, integration, and construction support of major liquids pipeline facilities, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with corporate standards.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance on facility design, equipment integration, and construction standards for pump stations, piping systems, valves, and electrical systems.

  • Oversee the development and approval of engineering deliverables, reports, and recommendations, ensuring adherence to project objectives, schedules, and budgets.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineering SMEs, Construction, Supply Chain, and Operations.

  • Support the resolution of technical issues during design, procurement, and construction phases, making independent decisions on engineering methods and risk management.

  • Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
     

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). P Eng with APEGA.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in liquids pipeline engineering, with a focus on pump stations and system integration.

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical projects.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (example, CSA Z662, API).

  • Technical experience in liquids pipeline systems, including pump station design and construction. Piping and valve design standards for station and terminal facilities. Electrical systems: transformers, EMDs and VFDs.

  • Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

  • Valid passport to travel and work in the US and Canada. 
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office based standard hours with occasional extended hours during peak project phases.

  • Occasional travel to project sites as required (approximately 25%).
