Who are we?

TRU Nursing Solutions is a team dedicated to providing expert home care within London and surrounding area.

Our PSW team provides home visits and shifts for clients who are aging in place and require assistance to maintain independence in the home, medically fragile, chronic/complex care needs, and palliative care, as well as respite care.

We offer flexible scheduling, with casual roles visiting clients for 1-2h, and shifts up to 12h, currently available in London.

Job Summary:

Personal Support Workers are responsible for assisting with ADLs to foster independence in clients living in the home, as well as working within care team to support clients in individual goals of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and manage high quality and appropriate care to all individuals and/or families in the community who are assigned to their care
  • Comply with all standards, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience working with palliative clients (an asset)
  • Knowledge of community resources (an asset)
  • Excellent assessment, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to working independently in a variety of situations
  • Access to a vehicle with a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Vulnerable Sector Screen may be required
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when appropriate

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail; lift and carry using appropriate lifting techniques; bend, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs; hand movements.
