Job Description

When you team up with Seden Centre as an Educational Assistant/Early Childhood Worker you entrust your career with the best. You would have the opportunity to work as a valued member of an Inter-disciplinary team, the opportunity to learn from Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Certified Teachers.

We are looking for individuals that can implement programming for the needs of children on your caseload in a collaborative and respectful manner within a variety of settings. This person will be located off-site and will work toward helping children that are unable to attend Seden Centre realize their goals. This position does include preparation for off-site and is a supporting role for both therapeutic disciplines.

The applicant must have strong educational skills and the ability to attend to numerous details. The position requires the employee to have skills in working with young children aged 2.5 – 6.0 who exhibit mild to moderate behavioural disorders, speech disorders and developmental delays. Interested individuals must be willing to work directly with children whose behaviours are often complex and intense in nature.
