Shifts:

• Day: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Evening: Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Who are we searching for?

We are looking for Formulation Technician to join our busy and growing Future Transfer team

Job Duties:

• Operating various types of equipment such as centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, mixers, scales, hoists, pressure washers etc.
• Unloading tankers and railcars into bulk tanks
• Loading out tankers
• Reading and understanding SDS sheets to ensure proper PPE is utilized
• Following strict blending instructions and procedures to ensure safe & accurate formulating
• Documenting batch records
• Using RF scanners to record production and inventory
• Performing quality inspections as needed
• Maintaining a clean and organized formulation area
• Understanding and troubleshooting equipment
• Overtime as required
• Other related duties as required or assigned

Required Knowledge/Qualifications:

• Manual dexterity
• Minimum 1 year experience of on the floor production line large batch formulation experience required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and the training provided
• Basic math, communication & problem-solving skills
• TDG & Forklift Training considered an asset but not required
• Experience handling chemicals considered an asset
• Experience in any of the above is considered an asset, however all will be provided
• Must be able to work intermittent afternoon shifts for holiday coverage

Working Conditions:

• Manual dexterity to work with tankers, pumps and other associated equipment
• Overtime as required
• Requirement to work both inside and outside in all conditions
• Able to identify any health and safety issues
• Must be flexible in working other shifts as per business needs
