The Position

Trinity Hospitality Services Inc. (the "Company") is the exclusive Swiss Chalet franchisee in Newfoundland operating three full-service Swiss Chalet restaurants in St. John's and Mt. Pearl and one combo Swiss Chalet/Harvey's restaurant in Gander under long-term operating franchise agreements with Recipe Unlimited Inc. ("Recipe").

The successful applicant will have a passion for outstanding customer service and will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all restaurants, driving sales growth, optimizing guest experience, profitability and efficiency, and ensuring that Swiss Chalet's and Harvey's brand standards are executed consistently across all restaurants.

Specific responsibilities include:

· People management and accountability of each restaurant General Manager and their team. This includes influencing and coaching to achieve desired business results, talent and people development, training and operational results;

· Driving sales growth in each restaurant through increasing same restaurant guest count ("SRGC"), increasing add-on features and increasing average guest cheque;

· Delivery, through each individual restaurant General Manager, of the highest standards of guest experience, food quality and safety, and operational efficiency throughout the Company;

· Accountability for key financial performance measures including sales, cost of food, cost of labour and overall margin within each restaurant;

· Overall profitability of the Company through managing individual restaurant financial results and vigilant cost control at both the restaurant and Company level;

· In conjunction with the Company's financial controller, approval of all accounts payable, payroll, capital expenditures, monthly and quarterly financial statements and audit-firm reviewed annual financial statements;

· A thorough understanding of Recipe's IT, food safety, operational reviews, restaurant audits and customer complaint resolution;

· Being the primary Ambassador for Swiss Chalet and Harvey's in Newfoundland as the Company's key regional representative; and

· Developing and executing local marketing and participating in and sponsoring local events to build the Company's image and presence in the Newfoundland market.

Professional Credentials and Experience

· Minimum 10 years operational experience in successful customer-facing businesses

· College diploma or university degree in hospitality or restaurant management would be an asset but not a requirement

· Strong people management and development skills

· Demonstrated ability to influence sales, customer satisfaction and overall financial results

· IT application knowledge and comfort with App-based technology

· Social media knowledge particularly as it relates to direct consumer businesses

· Keen financial acumen in running a multi-unit operating business and an ability to synthesize financial results into executable action plans

Location and Reporting

The position is based in St. John's NL and will require travel to each of the restaurants on a regular basis. The position will report to the Board of Directors of the Company which will play an active role in supporting the successful applicant fulfil their duties.
