If this sounds like a fit, we'd love you to be a part of it.

About The Role
We are seeking a Manager, Employer Onboarding to join our Pension Solutions team. This key role is responsible for delivering a best‑in‑class onboarding experience for employers and nurturing strong client relationships throughout the process.

In this role, you will oversee the full scope and work streams of employer onboarding plans, from initial planning through to completion, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination with internal stakeholders. You will provide guidance and mentoring to the Onboarding team, offer recommendations and best practices to employers, and perform due diligence related to new employer onboarding. As an expert in customer service and client relations, you will ensure employer queries are handled courteously, promptly, and accurately, while also overseeing a smooth and efficient document management process. You will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement of onboarding processes, procedures, and tools, and in strengthening collaboration between internal teams and external employers.

As The Newest Member Of Our Team, You'll

  • Hold overall accountability for the successful onboarding of new employers, providing direct leadership on the most complex onboarding engagements.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end project scope for employer onboarding plans, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination of internal departments (such as Legal, Policy, Communications, Education, Business Development, IT, and others as required).
  • Proactively manage problem solving and risk mitigation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and high employer satisfaction.
  • Provide exemplary leadership to the onboarding team, offering ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support to build a cohesive, high‑performing group.
  • Champion and support the implementation of the departmental strategy, including operational planning and the scoping of new projects and initiatives.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee implementation plans for onboarding new employers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Act as the escalation point for operational issues, resolving complex or escalated problems and ensuring end‑to‑end resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the employer onboarding experience, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Monitor pension industry practices and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable pension legislation to ensure onboarding practices remain current and compliant.

To Succeed, You Bring

  • 7–10 years of experience in the pension or financial services industry, with a strong preference for client/employer-facing onboarding experience.
  • A College Diploma or University Degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of pension plans, payroll‑based data collection, and related legislation; actuarial experience is considered an asset.
  • Professional accreditations such as CEBS, RPA, or PMP (preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop teams effectively.
  • Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with proven ability to handle multiple priorities, stakeholders, and ambiguity while driving creative problem-solving.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, paired with experience in client‑facing implementation projects in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Proficiency in French is considered a significant asset.

At CAAT, we believe innovation, passion, and purpose are ingredients for a great work environment. We're incredibly proud of our people and the remarkable impact they have as catalysts for change.
