Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dismantler to join our team. This role involves safely disassembling equipment and machinery, ensuring all parts are removed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Duties

  • Disassemble machinery, equipment, or structures using appropriate hand tools and power tools
  • Follow detailed instructions and safety protocols during dismantling processes
  • Remove components carefully to prevent damage for reuse or recycling purposes
  • Remove and replace defective parts
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects during disassembly
  • Assist with sorting, labeling, and storing dismantled parts for further processing or disposal
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations

Experience

  • Prior experience in mechanical disassembly or related field is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and components is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
  • Experience using power tools like drills, saws, or grinders is a plus
  • Ability to read technical diagrams or manuals is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential for success in this role
