About the Role

We're looking for a
sharp, bilingual Video Editor
with
hands-on videography experience
to join the Finnect team.

This role is
primarily editing-focused
, with the opportunity to step behind the camera when needed. You'll spend most of your time editing high-quality content for our advisor clients, but on select projects, you'll also support or lead video shoots (primarily corporate, talking-head, interview, and YouTube-style content).

What You'll Be Doing

Editing (Primary Focus)

• Edit short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and podcast clips
• Edit long-form YouTube and educational content
• Work with talking-head footage, B-roll, animated assets, subtitles, and music
• Apply brand guidelines and maintain stylistic consistency across clients
• Collaborate with content strategists and creative leads to shape narrative flow
• Organize and manage projects from raw footage to final export
• Stay current with trends in video editing, storytelling, and social platforms
• Contribute ideas to improve performance, retention, and engagement

Videography (As Needed)

• Support or lead video shoots for select client and internal projects
• Capture clean, professional footage for corporate talking-head, interview, and YouTube-style content
• Assist with lighting, framing, audio setup, and basic on-site production
• Work closely with the creative team to ensure footage aligns with the intended edit

Having your own camera, audio, or lighting equipment is considered a strong asset, but not required.

What You Bring

• Fluent in
  English and French
  (written and spoken)
• Strong proficiency in
  Adobe Premiere Pro
• Bonus if you've worked with
  After Effects
  and/or
  DaVinci Resolve
• Experience editing corporate, interview, educational, or branded content
• Comfort shooting professional talking-head or interview-style videos
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A self-starter mindset, you take ownership and follow projects through
• A strong sense of storytelling and clean, modern editing
• Open to feedback and excited to grow within a fast-moving team

$48,000–$52,000 + bonus
