This term position with FNHA ends 3/31/2028, with a possibility of an extension. When the term position ends with the FNHA, it is intended that this position will be offered as a permanent role with the "The Healing House"

About The Role
The - Wilp D'Mootxw – Nec'a Yikh " The Healing House" Primary Care Centre is envisioned to work as part of a strategic integrated system within a culturally safe model that integrates family, and community supports consistent with a no barriers to care model. The Occupational Therapist delivers services in line with COTBC standards, collaborating with the interprofessional care team to provide assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions that help patients achieve and maintain optimal health. The role also includes patient education, consultation, and participation in research, special projects, and quality improvement initiatives to advance practice and care delivery.
About You
Education
- Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Occupational Certification
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset
- Valid British Columbia Driver's License
Experience
- Minimum two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist in various field and programs
- Experience in community interventions and coordination or service plans is an asset
- Experience working with individuals, families and community organizations
- Experience working with First Nations communities preferred

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
