Duties and Responsibilities:

Campus Manitoba is seeking an IT Systems and Networks Specialist to maintain and modernize its digital infrastructure. This role involves managing WordPress and nopCommerce websites, coordinating with external IT teams, implementing micro-credentialing software, and integrating platforms such as WordPress and DSpace.

Responsibilities include conducting security audits, developing cybersecurity policies, managing API integrations, troubleshooting DMARC-based newsletter systems, and modifying plugins using Python and other technologies. The position requires ensuring system scalability, documentation, and performance optimization while supporting secure data exchange and collaborating with internal teams. Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum requirement includes completion of Grade 12 and a 3 – 4-year University Degree, plus at least 3 years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to handle frequent interruptions and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. They should be a proven team player, highly motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, possess strong organizational skills, excel in multitasking, and demonstrate initiative as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Skill based testing may be required. This is anticipated to be a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of remote and on campus work. 
This position is a term from February 9 to April 30, 2026,
 with the possibility of extension and/or continuation. Position and funding will be reviewed at term conclusion
