What You Will Do:
- Provide world-class customer service by helping customers, answering questions, and sharing your passion for our mission when greeting donors.
- Assist in the scheduling of staff and preparation of time and attendance reports.
- Assist the Manager or Assistant Manager in the day to day operations of the store and donation center.
- Train, develop and supervise team members.
- Assist the Store Manager in complying with all organizational image, security and safety practices according to policies and procedures.
- Maintain acceptable product standards.
- Follow Goodwill's Policies and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Contribute to teamwork with added activities
- Help to keep the donor area look clean, organized and safe
- Responsible for opening and closing tasks, which includes working evenings and weekends.
What We Are Looking For:
- Enthusiasm: excited to work with other people and teams.
- Flexibility: able to work at various times, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Any experience is welcome—we will help coach you to gain these workplace skills:
- Communication: effectively speaking with and listening to team members and customers to create a positive workplace.
- Problem-solving: finding solutions to problems, being accurate, and using simple math such as counting, adding and subtraction.
- 1-2 years of experience supervising people and processes simultaneously.
- Health and safety experience an asset.
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector check.
