Position Tittle: Sales and Marketing Coordinator – Toronto (Permanent-Full-Time /2 years duration)

Position Summary

We are seeking for a high-energy and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Coordinator with strong experience in Marketing Strategies and knowledge of FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food distribution. This role is essential in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our products visibility, drive online engagement, and support sales growth. Team work with Sales Department is a must to manage campaign and analyze effectiveness reflected in sales improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital channels and e-commerce platforms. Also responsible for creating new business opportunities within the Toronto district and surrounding areas by developing new commercial strategies that allows the company to expand to new markets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.

Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted to determine marketing and advertising needs of an establishment.

Advise clients on marketing, advertising or sales promotion opportunities and strategies.

Coordinate product management activities related to marketing launches and promotions.

Manage post campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics

Develop and execute district-level sales and commercial growth strategies.

Manage and expand relationships with current and potential customers.

Identify new retail opportunities in ethnic supermarkets, independent stores, and local chains.

Supervise and train sales representatives assigned to the territory.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Hamilton warehouse team.

Analyze sales performance, product rotation, and market trends in the Latin food category.

Assist with budgeting for marketing campaigns and tracking expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.

Support sales initiatives by developing targeted email marketing campaigns and promotional materials.

Qualifications

A university degree or college diploma in business marketing,

Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or account management within consumer goods, food, or beverage distribution.

Strong knowledge of Latin food products and ethnic commercial strategies and retail channels.

Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written), considering the main market is the Latin Community

Proven communication, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the GTA, when required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary starting at $37.5/hour.

Payroll taxes, such as employer contributions to the Employment Insurance program and the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
