Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role requires a strong focus on cleanliness, facilities maintenance, and customer service to uphold our high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
  • Ensure all public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need replenishing
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally

Experience

  • Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and reaching high or low areas
