We are currently accepting internal applications for the position of
Catering Associate
. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day catering operations, including order intake, coordination, client communication, and order fulfillment. The Catering Associate works closely with the Catering Coordinator, chefs, and customer service teams to ensure a high standard of service and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain knowledge of all catering products and services
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming catering-related phone calls and emails
  • Check and respond to voicemails upon arrival and regularly throughout the shift
  • Receive, process, and enter catering orders through e-commerce platforms and Caterease
  • Split and post orders to the kitchen clipboard accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist clients with phone, email, and walk-in catering orders
  • Coordinate and arrange deliveries for catering orders
  • Perform final checks and pack outgoing orders for courier pickup
  • Conduct daily reviews of next-day orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Inspect food and beverage orders prior to delivery
  • Label food packages when required
  • Coordinate product ordering with suppliers
  • Process payments during the Catering Coordinator's scheduled days off
  • Work collaboratively with catering chefs, corporate catering customer service representatives, and kitchen staff
  • Provide coverage for co-workers during scheduled days off or holidays, as required
  • Carry out any other duties related to the role, as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Customer service–focused mindset
  • Previous catering, food service, or administrative experience is considered an asset
