Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Adhere to restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Knowledge of serving practices and customer service principles is a plus
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food presentation and plating techniques
