Duties

• Perform as the designated mascot character at various events, parades, and promotional activities, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every appearance
• Engage with audiences of all ages through lively interactions, dancing, and playful antics that promote brand awareness and community spirit
• Use theatrical skills to portray the mascot with expressive gestures, body language, and voice modulation that captivate viewers
• Participate in rehearsals to perfect routines, movements, and character portrayal ensuring consistent performance quality
• Interact positively with children by fostering a safe and fun environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
• Assist in setting up event spaces and costume preparations to ensure smooth performances
• Communicate effectively with event coordinators and team members to coordinate schedules and performance details

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in dancing, theater, or performance arts that showcase physical expressiveness and stage presence
• Proven ability to engage diverse audiences through public speaking or interactive entertainment
• Experience working with children or in educational settings that require patience, teaching skills, and positive communication
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey enthusiasm and connect with community members during events
• Prior experience wearing mascot costumes or performing in character roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Ability to perform physical activities such as dancing, jumping, or moving energetically for extended periods
• A background in teaching or mentoring can be beneficial for creating engaging interactions

Pay

• Starts at $75 per event. Each event is typically 1 hour long. Some days you will have more than 1 event in a day.
