Eastlink is looking for highly motivated and sales driven individual to assume the role of Account Manager, Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) based in Halifax, NS. The objective of this role is to build and maintain strong relationships with developers and property managers in the MDU community and execute sales plans/initiatives for their properties to drive acquisition and revenue growth within the MDU market.
The Account Manager is the face of Eastlink for MDU Partners, their staff and their tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate regularly with partners to review portfolio performance and ensure execution of agreements.
- Identify opportunities for revenue and customer growth. Develop and deploy sales plans that deliver to gross connect and market share targets.
- Track, monitor, and report on portfolio performance as well as competitors market activity.
- Host sales events, execute product demos, conduct staff and resident education sessions.
- Coordinate with direct sales teams to ensure sales leads are effectively converted.
- Ensure brand standards are maintained by keeping marketing and promotion materials up to date.
- Work closely with the regional sales and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- The candidate will need a vehicle, a valid driver's license and due to the nature of the role will need to be available to work evenings and weekends on occasion when required by the business.
- To be successful, the individual will be results oriented and have a strong commitment to customer service.
- The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business or a combination of education and experience in account/client management.
- Experience and knowledge of the telecommunication industry and/or the MDU industry is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong communications and collaborative skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point skills
