In this role, you will: 


• Undertake Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) on equipment and systems with a goal of understanding supportability drivers, through-life costs, and identify actions to improve system performance 

• Build and use tools and processes for analysis across all work packages, such as: Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs), Lifecycle Cost (LCC) Models;

• Follow obsolescence management processes to assist in determining alternatives for equipment no longer supported by industry;

• Work cross-functionally throughout Babcock Canada, its sub-contractors, and its client base in order to progress assigned tasks;

• Assist working groups to develop innovative solutions to equipment challenges;

• Liaise with the customer as necessary to identify opportunity, capture requirements and ensure that tasks meet expectations;

• Work closely with Data Science in the development of reliability and LSA analytic tools and processes for asset work packages and safety management that Babcock Canada can deploy in support of the business;

• Take part in specific business improvement activities as assigned;

• Perform other duties as necessary.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • An Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) certification and good standing in their province of practice.
  • 4+ years' relevant engineering experience.
  • Previous experience in Reliability Engineering or similar Integrated Logistic Support / Integrated Product Support experience.
  • Strong analytical skills. A focus on integrated systems is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including data analytics in Microsoft Excel and other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Familiar with GenS (OMEGA PS) and Analyzer or Similar tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience liaising with stakeholders across a multi-disciplinary organization.
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
