This position offers the successful candidate a permanent opportunity in a fast-paced, growing company in a clean, food-grade warehouse and office environment. We are looking for an individual that is committed to getting the job done, is a team player with excellent communication skills (fluent in English) and takes initiative.

This position offers the opportunity for advancement and reports to the General Manager.

This is a permanent full-time position 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create warehouse documentation, understanding the business needs and requirements.
  • Oversee a safe warehouse environment, reporting injuries or other issues to management.
  • Support management on Food Safety Standard Certification requirements.
  • Facilitating receiving, put away, storage (inventory) and shipping in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Daily scheduling and appointments.
  • Dealing with clients and their requirements when required.
  • Manage equipment, building maintenance and repairs.
  • Forklift duties as needed.
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5 year experience with Food Warehousing and Distribution
  • Speaks English fluently (written and verbal)
  • College diploma or equivalency required
  • Proficient with WMS (Warehouse Management System), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to multi tasks, working under pressure and working under fast-paced environment
  • Own car (not relying on public transportation)
  • Forklift experience and certified
