Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight between locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.
  • Manage route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and coordinate repairs when necessary.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery is preferred.
  • Knowledge of freight handling, loading/unloading procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $49,453.82-$326,143.81 per year
