The primary focus of this position will center on providing high levels of customer service, including on-site and on-call plant operational support. You will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of building operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. You must be able to operate as a team member, support Chief Engineer, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and have strong customer service skills supporting a wide range of clients, contractors and co-employees.What your day-to-day will look like:Complete work assignments with limited supervision, thoroughly and efficientlyOperate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair building equipment related to the efficient operation of the building equipment and systemsWork with all types of building equipment, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls (electrical & pneumatic)Support the property maintenance team, work assigned customer service requests, participate in construction projects and support special set ups relating to eventsAssist Lead Engineer with completion of JLL compliance program and associated documentation to achieve compliance at your required account locationsMaintain good tenant relations through prompt and courteous response to tenant request within the guidelines set forth by JLLPerform predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintenance routines and service requests as directedOccasionally assist contractors and ensure contracted services are being performed safely and in accordance with established work standards and practicesMaintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, controllersMaintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarm contacts, and other building fire life safety systemsMaintain and repair single phase electrical breakers, switches, receptacles, junction boxes, conduit, lights, and ballastsMaintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumpsProvide all other building maintenance, repair, and restorative procedures as directedPrepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfacesPerform general Handyman tasks to maintain buildingsWork independently but occasionally work as a member of a teamWork occasional overtime and holidays as requiredRequired Qualifications:5 - 7 years of construction or building engineering related experienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalentExperienced with various types of hand tools and use of diagnostic equipmentPhysically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools and lift and carry up to 70 poundsAble to work in close spaces such as closets, crawl space and able to work on roofs of buildingsAbility to diagnosis problems, make sound decisions, prioritize, schedule and complete multiple tasksProven safety record and compliance to safe work practicesAbility to interpret engineering drawings and equipment manualsCFC Universal Refrigerant CertificationProficient computer skills including e-mail, word and excelPreferred Qualifications:Trade or Maintenance LicenseExposure to a CMMS system, such as CorrigoAdditional certifications in building systems and maintenanceExperience with building automation systems*Oral and/or written interactions with tenants or external partners based outside Quebec (for example, service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, non-French-speaking clients, etc.)Location: On-site –Montreal, QCIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tableJLL Privacy NoticeJones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
