POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman to lead our Irrigation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to laborers on-site.
  • Perform and oversee trenching, backfilling, and landscape restoration.
  • Install irrigation systems, including valves, valve boxes, low-voltage wiring, and pipe fittings (1"–4").
  • Fabricate, assemble, and test irrigation systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with IIABC standards.
  • Maintain company vehicles and ensure accurate completion of maintenance logs.
  • Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate effectively with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience or IIABC Certified Technician Level 1 & 2.
  • Strong knowledge of IIABC standards and irrigation system installation practices.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Current Standard First Aid certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Physically fit and able to perform outdoor, hands-on work.
  • Solid understanding of landscape construction and irrigation practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape and irrigation drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS & TRAINING

  • Equipment operation experience (excavator, skid steer, etc.).
  • Fall Protection and Confined Space training.
  • Punctual, reliable, and proactive attitude.
