Job DescriptionThe House of Commons is currently hiring for several student roles.
Being a student at the House of Commons is an extraordinary experience, blending academic learning with the fast-paced, dynamic environment of one of the world's most iconic political institutions. The environment fosters critical thinking, professionalism, and adaptability as students contribute to meaningful projects and participate in stimulating activities. Students can make meaningful contributions across a wide range of fields such as:
- Administrative support, client service
- Accounting, commerce, procurement and contracting, and policy
- Communications, linguistics, graphic / web design
- Architecture, interior design
- Engineering, computer science, data science, cybersecurity, information management
- Broadcasting / audiovisual support
- Compensation, talent management, occupational health and safety, labour relations, project management
- Trades, culinary arts

Eligibility criteria:
- Minimum age of 16
- Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid study permit (for international students)

These positions are located in Ottawa, Ontario, and students are required to work on-site.
