Job Responsibilities

Complete mandatory onboarding and ongoing trainingPatrol interior and exterior of site (all weather conditions)Monitor patients, provide customer service, and support clientsRemain calm and de-escalate conflicts/emergencies (verbal/physical intervention if required)Enforce site, client, and by-law rules (parking, smoking, policies)Respond to and investigate incidents; write detailed reportsMaintain access control, key control, and safety inspectionsWork independently and in a team; sit/stand up to 12 hours per shiftPass N95 Mask Fit Test (must be clean shaven)Bilingualism (English/French) and 6+ months customer service experience considered assetsOther duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security License Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C from WSIB-approved sourceMinimum 6 months security experience Proof of minimum 2 doses COVID-19 vaccinationsA copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)Steps to get your immunization records:

Immunization Form:KHSC Immunization FormsCompleted immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)Must be able to provide certifications in Stay SafeApplicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all the costs of the certification with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityLegally authorized to work in CanadaEligible for a Sign on Bonus of $250.00

Valid Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED

Valid Ontario Security License
